Automatic NAV queries in the background

What the system downloads from the tax authority by itself: invoices every quarter of an hour, tax account, missing returns and public debt daily, and where you see the result.

If a company has NAV (Hungarian tax authority) credentials set up, the system queries NAV data in the background without manual start: incoming and outgoing invoices, the tax account, missing tax returns and the public debt balance. You get a notification on new data and on errors.

Where you see the result

  1. New NAV invoices appear in the invoice list every quarter of an hour; the bell icon (Notifications) reports new invoices and sync errors.
  2. The tax account is refreshed daily: items per tax type appear in the NAV tax account list, and the company receives a PDF statement by e-mail.
  3. For a new missing return the company receives an e-mail and the items go into the missing returns list.
  4. The public debt balance is shown under Public debt balance; the query runs according to the schedule and date window set per company.
  5. You can check the runs under System → Cron scheduler.
NAV invoice fetching is on by default for every company with NAV credentials and NAV querying switched on. If a query fails permanently (for example wrong credentials), the system does not keep retrying but notifies the company's authorised users.

Example

A supplier of Sample Ltd. submits an invoice to NAV at 10:05. The 10:15 sync downloads its header and right after that its items; the accountant gets a notification under the bell icon, and the invoice appears in the list with its items.
