Maintenance, session messages and language switching
What users see during an update, with an expired session or a missing permission, when they are notified of a new invoice, and how to switch language on the website.
Some messages and behaviour come not from a menu item but from the system itself on every page: during an update it temporarily accepts no requests, with an expired session it asks you to reload, it notifies when a new invoice is recorded, and it shows a language switcher in the website header.
What to do when you see such a message
- If you see "Your session has expired or you logged in again in another tab — please reload the page." during an action, reload the page and sign in again if needed.
- If you see "The account protection step has to be completed — please reload the page.", reload the page and complete the requested check.
- If you see "You do not have access to this function.", ask the administrator for the permission.
- If you see "The server was being updated at that moment — the request will be repeated automatically.", wait a few seconds; the system retries by itself.
- If the system is temporarily unavailable because of an update, try again in two minutes.
Notification of a new invoice
After every successfully recorded invoice the system notifies the people concerned through the shared notification path. If the notification fails, the invoice still stays recorded.
Switching language on the website
A language switcher with the active languages appears in the website header, before the cart. Choosing another language reloads the same page in that language.
Example
Anna Kovács signs in again in another browser tab and then tries to save a partner in the original tab. Instead of saving she gets the expired session message; after reloading the page the save works.
