Package comparison table on the website

The prices and feature matrix of a package family can be placed as a pricing table in any position of any website layout, for example on a landing page.

The package comparison module shows the packages of a package family as a pricing table: package cards with monthly and total price, a billing cycle switch and, if switched on for the family, the feature matrix. Prices and content come from the package family; in the module you only choose which family to show.

Before you start

  • The package family must exist and be active under Subscription → Package families.
  • The module has to be installed once: on Extensions → Extensions, in the list of the Modules type, click the install button in the package comparison module's row. This needs the right to modify extensions.

Placing the table step by step

  1. In Extensions → Extensions → Modules click the + button in the module's row (new instance).
  2. On the Edit package comparison module card enter Module name (3–64 characters), for example "ERP pricing".
  3. Choose the family from Package family. Only active families are listed.
  4. Leave Status on Active and click Save at the top right. On success: "Success: You have modified the package comparison module!"
  5. Open Design → Layouts, pick the layout of the page and put the module instance into the position you want.

Rules and messages

  • A name that is too short or too long: "Module name must be between 3 and 64 characters!"
  • No family: "Select an existing package family!"
  • If the family is deactivated later, the table disappears from the website (leaving an empty place), and on the settings page the family is still shown marked as disabled.

Example

The operator creates an instance called "ERP pricing" for the "ERP" package family and puts it in the content top position of the landing page. Visitors see the cards of three packages with monthly and yearly prices, a cycle switch and the feature matrix below.
