Assigning function permissions

Per user, define which functions are visible and usable, with what limit and validity, or load a subscription plan onto the user in one step.

On the Function permissions page the super administrator assigns functions per user. For each row you set whether the function is only visible or usable, for which period and with what limit. You can also load a plan onto the user.

Assigning functions

  1. Open Users → Function permissions (shown to the super administrator only). The list shows one row per user with the number of assigned rows.
  2. Click the blue pencil icon in the user's row, or Add, and choose the User.
  3. Search for a function in Search a function to add (at most 12 hits) and add it.
  4. Per row set Access: Usable or Visible only. For visible only, Offer from subscription sets which subscription the system offers.
  5. If needed set Valid from and Valid to, Limit type, Limit, Unit, Resets, Included, Unit price, Overage price, Discount % and Currency. Set this access on every listed function sets the access for all rows at once.
  6. Click Save.

Loading a plan

  1. On the form choose the Subscription and the Plan and set the validity.
  2. The plan's rows are loaded into the form: "The plan was loaded into the form … Nothing has been saved yet." You can still edit them.
  3. Click Load parameters. The user then has exactly this plan: anything not in it is deleted, including manually assigned rows.
Note: saving deletes every row of the user that is not on the form, whatever its source. Delete manual functions removes all manually assigned rows of the user; rows from role, subscription and order remain.

Example

Péter Szabó may see the invoice list but not record invoices. On the form you add the invoice list as Usable and invoice recording as Visible only, choose the Office subscription as offer, and save. When Péter clicks the recording button he gets the offer page.
