Building a test tenant
The super administrator can build a complete test tenant – company group, client company, user, subscription – on the regular operating paths with one click, repeatably.
The Subscription test bootstrap page is for the super administrator: one button builds a complete tenant from scratch, on the same paths that live operation uses. Running it again creates no duplicates.
Steps of the build
- Open Subscription → Test bootstrap (visible to the super administrator only).
- Fill in Company group, Client name, Tax number, Username, E-mail, Password, User group and Plan.
- Click Build tenant.
- Check the result and the limits in the Current tenant block.
- Continue with Continue: NAV and storage settings, or check the balance with My balance and usage.
Good to know
- If a client company with this name already exists, it is reused; if it has an open subscription, its period is activated.
- With invalid data: "Please check the form for errors.", with the exact reason under the field (for example the tax number must have 8 or 11 digits).
Example
Before a demo you build a "Sample Ltd." tenant with user "sample.test" and the Business plan. If you run it again after the demo, the existing tenant is updated and no new one is created.
