Subscription offer for a locked function
When a function is visible but not usable, the Subscription required page shows which plans contain it, and you can order the plan or the function from there.
The Subscription required page appears when you click a function that is visible to you but not usable. It offers only the plans that really contain the function, and you can order straight away.
Ordering a plan or a function
- Click the locked function. The system takes you to the Subscription required page or window, showing the function's name and description.
- Review Plans that include it. The Your current plan and Recommended labels help you choose.
- Click Order this plan on the chosen plan. To get the function on its own, use Add this function (pay per use).
- If your balance does not cover the fee, top it up in the payment window with Pay and order.
- After a successful order Open the function lets you use it at once.
When an allowance is used up
If you may use the function but its allowance is used up, the page shows the required, included, used and missing quantity and the cost, and offers: Top up credit, Buy an add-on package, Change plan, Continue anyway or Back.
Rules and messages
- When the restriction is due to an overdue invoice, no plan is offered: the invoice has to be settled.
- A plan or function without a price cannot be ordered: "This plan has no price set yet, so it cannot be ordered."
- If you already have the function: "You already have this function — nothing was ordered."
- Ordering a plan adds rights; it does not take existing ones away.
Example
Anna Kovács clicks the tax-authority lookup but can only see it. The offer shows two plans; Business is "Recommended". She clicks Order this plan, the fee is taken from her balance, and Open the function lets her use it immediately.
