FoxPost cash-on-delivery settlement

Fetching the cash-on-delivery settlements of the parcel locker provider FoxPost by API or CSV, setting up the account per client company, and linking settlements to invoices.

If the client company sells cash on delivery through FoxPost parcel lockers, FoxPost transfers the collected amount less its fee. After fetching the settlement, the system links the rows to invoices, and bank import matches the FoxPost transfer on that basis (“collected − fee = transfer”).

Setting up the account

  1. Open Bank → Bank import and click the parcel icon. The FoxPost COD settlement window opens.
  2. Choose the client company. In FoxPost API account of the selected client fill in API URL, API key, or Basic auth user and Basic auth password, and if needed Google Drive folder ID (foxpost).
  3. Click Save account, then Test connection. A successful test reads, for example: “Connection OK — 12 settlement row(s) in the last 7 days.”

Fetching settlements

  1. Enter the date range — it is required.
  2. Click Fetch from API. The system reports how many new, updated and skipped settlement rows were saved.
  3. If the contract has no report API, upload the file exported from the FoxPost portal in Settlement CSV (fallback) and click Import CSV.

The FoxPost query button on the Finance → Invoices list runs the fetch for every active FoxPost account you can access (or the filtered client company) at once and gives a summary: accounts, new and updated rows, rows linked to invoices, failures.

Messages

  • “Warning: Client company and date range (or CSV file) are required!”
  • “Warning: No CSV file uploaded!”
  • “Warning: No active FoxPost account found for the selected scope!”

Example

Sample Ltd.'s web shop sent 40 cash-on-delivery parcels in October. The accountant fetches the October settlement; the rows are linked to the customer invoices. When FoxPost transfers HUF 386,000, the bank import matching engine suggests the related invoices based on the settlement.
