Quick date ranges
Configure the quick range buttons of the filter panels: which buttons appear, in what order and which period they select.
On the filter panels of the lists the Quick range buttons (e.g. "current year", "previous month", "last 30 days") fill the date fields with one click. This screen defines which buttons appear, in what order and which period they select.
The list
Master datas → Quick date ranges. Each row shows the button's code, its name, a readable description of its rule and the period it would select today. Rows with an unknown code are flagged.
Adding or changing a button
- Click the blue + button at the top right, or the edit icon of a row.
- In Code choose one of the codes the system knows; each code may appear only once.
- Name may stay empty: the caption then appears in the interface language.
- If the button should select something other than its default rule, set Period unit (year, quarter, month, day), Offset (0 = current, −1 = previous), Length and Period end (the full calendar period or today). An empty unit means the built-in rule applies.
- Set Sort order and click Save.
Deactivating and deleting
The green tick and the yellow ban sign switch the button on and off. Depending on your rights, the bin icon deletes the row permanently or moves it to the trash.
Example
The accountant wants the "current year" button named "This year" at the front: edit the row, change the name and set the sort order to 1. Every filter panel then shows this button first, and in 2026 it selects 1 Jan 2026 – 31 Dec 2026.
