Central bank base rates
The record of MNB and ECB base rate quotations that default interest is calculated from. Manual entry and download from the central bank.
This screen keeps the base rate of the Hungarian National Bank (forint) and the European Central Bank (euro) day by day. Default interest is calculated from these quotations, so the series must be complete.
Where to find it
Master datas → Central bank base rates. The list shows Central bank, Currency, Valid from, Time, Rate (%/year), Source (API or Manual) and Note.
When a day has several quotations, the system uses the last one of that day: it is marked Applied, the earlier ones Superseded on that day.
Downloading from the central bank

- Set Date to. By default the download goes back 10 years from that day.

- The message at the top tells you how many quotations were stored. Repeating the download does not duplicate rows.
Entering a quotation by hand
- Click the blue + button at the top right (Add base rate), or the blue pencil icon in an existing row.
- Fill in the fields (see the table) and click Save.
