Quick fixes from the invoice list
Changing the payment type and the outstanding balance directly in the list, and repointing an invoice recorded on a collector partner to the real partner.
Some common fixes can be done directly in the list without opening the invoice: payment type, outstanding balance and partner. Each is a separate right; without it you only see the data, with no clickable control.
Changing the payment type
- Open Finance → Invoices.
- Click the row's payment type cell (credit card icon, Change payment method).
- Choose the new payment type and save.
Overwriting the outstanding balance
- Click the row's outstanding balance cell. The window shows the Current outstanding balance.
- Fill in Outstanding balance (HUF) and, for a foreign-currency invoice, Outstanding balance (currency). The system sets both according to the invoice currency and rate.
- Save. On success: “Success: Outstanding balance updated!” For an invalid value: “Warning: Invalid outstanding value!”
Repointing the partner
If an invoice landed on a technical or collector partner (for example “private person”), you can move it to the real partner.
- Click the row's two-way arrow icon (Repoint partner). The window shows Current partner:.
- Type at least 2 letters into Real partner and choose the company from the hit list.
- If the partner is not in the master data yet, click New partner, fill in Name and Tax number (optional), then click Create and repoint.
- The system reports how many documents, prepared rows and files were updated.
Only this invoice moves to the chosen company, together with the documents booked against it, the prepared bank import rows and the attached files. Other invoices of the collector company stay untouched.
Example
A card payment was recorded on the “private person” collector partner. Péter Szabó uses Repoint partner to move the invoice to Example plc; the related bank document moves to Example plc as well.
