Removing a property from brokerage
How to end all active brokerages of a property in one step if it was sold or let to a third party or withdrawn from sale, and what happens to the brokers' access.
If a property was sold or let without the brokers, or the owner withdrew it from sale, you can end the active rows of all affected brokerage contracts in one step from the property list. The brokers get a system message and can no longer see the offering folder from the end date.
Steps
- Open System → Master datas → Properties.
- On the property's row open the three-dot More actions menu and choose Remove from brokerage (sold / rented / withdrawn) with the yellow flag icon. It only appears if the property has an active brokerage; the number of active rows is shown next to it.
- In the Remove the property from brokerage window choose the Reason: Sold to a third party, Rented to a third party or Withdrawn from sale.
- Enter the Date (today by default).
- Click Save. The message tells you how many brokerage rows ended in how many contracts and how many system messages were sent.
What happens
- For a sale or withdrawal every active brokerage row ends; for a letting only the lease rows — a "sale and rental" row remains.
- The data room access of the affected contracts is refreshed: the offering folder is no longer visible from the end date.
- The brokers receive a system message.
"This property has no active brokerage of the chosen kind." — you get this if, for example, you choose letting but the property only has a sale brokerage.
Example
The owner sells the flat at Minta utca 1. without a broker. With Remove from brokerage, reason "Sold to a third party" and the date 15 Dec 2026, the active rows of two contracts end: "2 brokerage row(s) ended in 2 contract(s)."
