Importing invoices from QUiCK and MOL files

How to bring in a client company’s missing invoices from QUiCK for a chosen period, and how to process the MOL invoice files in the configured folder.

The invoice list offers two imports: the QUiCK import brings in a client company's invoices for a period that are not yet in the system; the MOL import processes the invoice files in a folder configured on the server. The QUiCK import also runs automatically at night.

Importing from QUiCK

  1. Open Finance → Invoices.
  2. Click the file import icon in the header (Import from QUiCK).
  3. Choose the client company and the period. You can only choose a client company you have access to.
  4. Start it. The response reads, for example: “12 invoice(s) imported, 3 skipped, 0 problem(s).” The details are in the error log.
The system looks for the suppliers marked for QUiCK import in the partner master. If the partner's posting type is not the right one, the invoice is built from the QUiCK record, in HUF and without item rows; to build it from the invoice image in the original currency, set the posting type on the supplier. If the page limit runs out before the end of the account, narrow the date range and run it again.

Importing MOL invoices

  1. Click the fuel pump icon in the header (MOL).
  2. The system processes the files in the configured MOL import folder and attaches them to invoices.
  3. The response gives a summary (processed, skipped, errors); if a file went to an already posted invoice, a notification is sent.

Possible messages: “No MOL import folder is configured!”, “The MOL import folder was not found!”, “There is no file to process in the MOL import folder!”

Example

Some of Sample Ltd.'s October incoming invoices exist only in QUiCK. The accountant runs the QUiCK import for Sample Ltd. and October; the missing invoices appear in the list, and existing ones are skipped.
