My contracts: the broker's own contracts in the data room
What a broker sees about their own brokerage contracts in the data room's My contracts view, how to open the documents, and how to initiate a termination.
If you are a designated employee of a brokerage company, the data room's My contracts view shows your own brokerage contracts read-only: parties, term, properties and commissions, registrations, deals and documents. You can also initiate a termination from here.
Viewing a contract
- Sign in to the data room and open My contracts.
- The Active contracts tab shows running contracts; Ended / expired contracts shows the earlier ones.
- On the card, Details expands the contract data: Term and notice, properties with state and commission, Registered clients with decisions, offers, deals, completion certificates, Amendments and terminations.
- In Documents click a document: it opens in the watermarked viewer.
- On a property row the Offer documents link opens the property's folder.
The contact panel shows the principals' contact persons with name, e-mail address and phone number.
Initiating a termination
- On the card of an active contract click Initiate termination.
- Choose Type of termination: ordinary or with immediate effect.
- For immediate termination mark at least one reason in Reasons (from the contract).
- Enter Requested effective date (today or later) and, if needed, Note (at most 2000 characters).
- Click Send request.
Ended contracts
For an ended or expired contract the card and the documents can still be opened, but the offering folders cannot. The card states whether the contract expired, was terminated or ended for another reason, with the date.
Example
In My contracts Anna Kovács sees contract SZ-2026-0012: Minta utca 1. has the state "Successful transaction", and the completion certificate shows the fee, the gross amount and the number of the received invoice. For another contract she initiates an ordinary termination with the date 31 Jan 2027; Sample Ltd.'s contact receives an e-mail.
