Contract master data: termination reasons, rejection reasons, broker activities
Maintaining the three contract master lists: immediate termination reasons, registration rejection reasons and brokerage activities, with a name per language.
Three selection lists of the contract module come from their own master data. Set them up once; afterwards they can be chosen on the contract form, in the registration decision and on the registration form. All three lists are shared across the installation.
Where to find them
- Contracts → Immediate termination reasons — the choices of the contract form's immediate termination card and of the termination;
- Contracts → Registration rejection reasons — the grounds of the principal's rejection;
- Contracts → Brokerage activities — the activities marked with buttons on a client registration.
Adding an item
- Open the list in the Contracts menu, for example Contracts → Immediate termination reasons.
- Click the blue + button at the top right.
- Fill in Code and, on every language tab, Name. For a termination reason also fill in Legal text.
- For a termination reason choose the Contract type and Contract subtype it applies to (empty: all), and enter the clause number in Default contract clause (e.g. 8.2).
- Set Sort order and Status, then click Save.
Starter items
| List | Starter items |
|---|---|
| Immediate termination reasons | ten reasons, e.g. serious breach of contract; payment delay beyond the deadline set in the reminder; insolvency, bankruptcy or liquidation; breach of confidentiality; missing or revoked power of attorney |
| Registration rejection reasons | already registered (with another broker or on another basis), the principal's own client, the property is not available, incomplete data, other — with Hungarian, English and German names |
| Brokerage activities | handover of offering material, on-site presentation, data room access, offer negotiation, financing consultation, contract preparation |
Rules
Only active items can be chosen as new references. Recorded terminations, registration rejections and registration activities keep the name valid when it was chosen, so later renaming or deactivating an item does not change them.
Example
You add a new termination reason "Repeated blocking of the work site" for works contracts only, with the default clause 9.1. On the form of a works contract the reason can then be chosen, and the contract can override 9.1 with its own clause number.
